117 8/7/2006 can I dig up 2 year old tame black berry plants and replant them in a new location (Answer: 43 words)
Asked by: Rose Dierking from Leslie Mo.
110 8/7/2006 Our tree of lambert cherries is ripening nicely, if a bit early. I noticed some tiny flies on them last week--about the 15th or 16th. They have black stripes on their wings, are just a bit larger than a fruit fly and seem to have gold metallic bodies. Since they are so interested in the cherries I am assuming they are the adult of the cherry worm that infests our fruit each year. My question is: What is the gestation period of the eggs? Or How long to I have to get these cherries picked before the worms are evident? And would it have been possible to spray for the adult flies when the fruit is so ready to pick? Thank you in advance for your answers. Vickie (Answer: 62 words)

72 9/18/2005 Do you sell berry plants or seedless grape plants? How deep does a root barrier (plastic or cement block) have to be to contain berry roots so they don't spread? Thanks (Answer: 59 words)

53 7/30/2004 I have lots of roma tomatoes planted and they are producing lots of fruit, however on many of the tomatoes, the bottoms turn brown and start rotting, even while the rest of the fruit is still growing. How can I combat this? Also some of my bell peppers get small brown spots on them as well. (Answer: 118 words)

52 5/29/2004 We have started square foot gardening this year (raised boxes). With various vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, melons, peas). We are having a had time with the peppers, tomatoes and peppers. The leaves start turning brown and drying up from the end to inward. I have used miracle grow, slow releasing 10-10-10 fertilizer and a natural fertilizer. I keep a check on the soil moisture as to not to over water. The radishes, spinach and broccoli are doing well. What to do for the problem with leaves turning brown and drying up? thanks! (Answer: 117 words)
